Cybersecurity · peer-to-peer study with me

Find a cybersecurity study partner who actually shows up.

Match with one cybersecurity learner at a similar level, choose a recurring weekly time, turn your cameras on, and stay consistent through fundamentals, labs, CTFs, cert prep, and practical work.

1-on-1 · Camera-on sessions · Similar level · Compatible weekly time

Networking & LinuxBuild the foundations together instead of studying in isolation.
Security certification prepKeep a regular study rhythm while each person follows trusted certification material.
CTFs & legal labsCompare approaches and explain what you learned on intentionally vulnerable platforms.
Blue team & security projectsUse recurring sessions for hands-on practice, writeups, and defensive skills.
How PeerFlow works

A study buddy is useful only if the match turns into real sessions.

PeerFlow matches around the practical things that make a 1-on-1 learning routine possible: what you are learning, your level, and when both of you can consistently meet.

01 / MATCH

Find someone on the same path

Choose Cybersecurity, add the topic you are working on, and look for a peer at a similar stage.

02 / SCHEDULE

Pick a time you can both keep

Compatibility is not just interests. Your weekly availability needs to overlap so the partnership can become a habit.

03 / LIVE

Study face to face, cameras on

Join your 1-on-1 “study with me” session, state what you are working on, focus side by side, then check in on progress.

Bring your own learning material

PeerFlow is the accountability layer, not another course.

Keep using the labs, books, videos, CTFs, classes, certification material, and projects you trust. PeerFlow adds one compatible person who expects you to be there and is also trying to make progress in cybersecurity learning.

  • Set one legal, concrete learning goal before each session.
  • Study or work through labs independently with cameras on.
  • Use check-ins to explain concepts, compare notes, and unblock each other.
  • End by recording what you finished and what you will tackle next.
Questions

Cybersecurity study partner FAQ

What is a PeerFlow “study with me” session?

It is a live 1-on-1 study session with your matched peer. You both turn on your cameras, say what you plan to work on, focus on your own learning or project, and use check-ins when discussion helps.

Do I need cybersecurity experience?

No. Beginners are welcome. Matching around level and current topic helps two learners progress together without one person becoming the tutor.

Can I use PeerFlow for Security+, TryHackMe, CTFs, or other cert/lab work?

Yes. PeerFlow is the accountability and study-partner layer; use the legitimate learning platforms and curriculum you already trust.

Is this a random public study room?

No. PeerFlow focuses on peer-to-peer matching. The goal is to find one compatible learner and build a recurring study routine together rather than drop into an anonymous group.

All eight learning paths
